The book is beautiful, inspiring, sad, uplifting, and amazing because the writers create the story that is relatable and heartwarming. The writers each have a meaningful story to tell that the readers are touched by the imagery, the characters, and the plot. Although some stories are hard to relate to, they each have a unique prospect of telling it. The Anthology have common themes about family, tradition, culture, language, yourself, household situations, animal friendships, and many more that we find wonderful to have read. Some of the writers are personally connected to their stories that they created and the symbols that stand out. The Native American authors have told their stories of which they went through rough times, tragedy, friendship, life lessons, their culture, and how their proud to be who they are now. This book is absolutely amazing to read because it is a variety of different Native American writers with their own unique story to tell.

Found the read for tomorrow's flight to Austin. My Potawatomie spirit could use some refueling as well... Read a few entries and I am glad I did, but found it left me a bit sad and thinking about the past. I may have to put this one away for a rainy day at home and not on a plane for business.
