Review # 1 was written on 2013-04-16 00:00:00 J Halpenny This is my favorite book about teaching writing. It is overflowing (Okay, so a book can't exactly be overflowing, but if it could, this one would be!) with ideas for teaching students how to write. If you're looking at books for teaching writing right now, skip over all of the books that are filled with "activities" and get this book, which is full of "strategies" that can be adapted to almost any situation.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-07-27 00:00:00 John Corrigan My school is in Winterim right now-(a three week learning focus in specialized subjects-marine biology-scuba diving, play production) and as a part-time faculty I've spent the time creating a new writing program. I pulled out Dr. Dean's book and as a working learner, I appreciate it even more now than when I was her student-though I loved it then too.
