This is an unabashed rags-to-riches Cinderella story, full of warmth and love, with a bit of Christmassy mystery thrown in. A sweet tale that is to be savored and enjoyed on those days when life is just too much!

Review # 2 was written on 2007-09-08 00:00:00 Adrian Yancey A nice romance set in San Francisco in 1899. It has a bit of a magical twist to it, along with a hint of the Chinese flavor that is a part of that town. Polly is a quiet secretary to a handsome lawyer. When she receives a Chinese coin as a gift, it seems to have mysterious powers. Are her dreams really coming true?
