Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-04 00:00:00 Susan (Bella) Hyde Good information. My copy was the Kindle version, so it didn't reformat the songs correctly. They were messed up for viewing. But, the chapter information was interesting. I read it as a research follow up to Tamera Alexander's fiction book on the Fisk singers in To Wager Her Heart.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-01 00:00:00 John Smith A lot more on the technical aspects of the blues music and traditions and not so much about the people who play the blues but still a worthwhile read. I believe there is an updated edition now available.
