However, I am a spider lover, and I determined to look beyond the cover to the contents inside. In fact, this book teaches us to look beyond outward appearance. The illustrations are most interesting, my favorites being Sophie's colorful socks hanging on the washing line and the exquisite shawl spun from spider silk.
