Review # 1 was written on 2017-03-06 00:00:00 Martin Jungverdorben When we begin to make the work described herein a normal and expected part of forestry and lands management, the contents of this book will still be ahead of it's time. Incredibly useful for anyone who wants to make a positive impact on lands and ecosystem resiliency. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-18 00:00:00 Jo Alexa sparse, written for the action-oriented, to use his own terminology. I would have liked more examples of how the situation plays out with a manager of one orientation and employees of another. There is a faux-case study that is revisited throughout the book but the "voice" is off, it gives the same judgmental attitude to every "character," when I think only some of them would think that way. Useful paradigms: "ascribed" versus "achieved" authority; and the model of action/ process/ task/ role orientation. |
