Review # 1 was written on 2008-04-25 00:00:00 Gareth Hoffman Good coverage of the region, and one of the few books to actually have a section on Lithuania. Interesting to see how much the situation has changed (or how much it hasn't) for women in this part of the world since the book's publication in 1995.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-10-05 00:00:00 Steven Mason The author examines the Roosevelt New Deal policies and projects that were specific to the West. Topics include reclamation and water use, land usage, mining, and the special needs of California.
