I was able to teach my 4 month old puppy to bring me his toy when i trow it! it might not be all the time but he is learning. "your puppy is eager to learn, so be patient with him, and make training fun."(Bonoham 116), this is so true because my puppy gets distracted easily. the purpose of this book is to inform people of how to train their dogs easily. i would recommend this book to people who have no idea of what having a dog is because it gives you information about shots, tags, ways to treat them and helps you understand how a dog thinks. really helpful information that makes having a dog a nice lifelong experience.

It brought a smile to my face and for anyone who knows me know that this is ground breaking. I tend to gravitate towards self help books, and this book helped me get through my dog JD's passing. Never having bought this book, I sometimes still look for this book in bookstores and surprisingly enough, I'll smile and think of JD.
