Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-05 00:00:00 Ronald Maestri comprehensive introduction to dif. however, i missed some more advanced topics, eg a discussion on which tests are useful when investigating dif in a logistic regression framework.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-10-19 00:00:00 Larry Berkson Great book with some good practical advice about bridging different culture and amalgamating organizing around interests vs. organizing around values. Which I had read it earlier--it would have smoothed some of my own interactions with union activists. The loosey goosey of academic scheduling does not always sit well with people who are used to strict deadlines--even though academic flexibility is a plus in my book. This book reinforced that.
