Review # 1 was written on 2018-09-27 00:00:00 Lois Cartier This is a great book. My grandma wrote it. It is her story of growing up during the holocaust and what that was like. It is special to me because my grandma wrote it. I love it.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-05-06 00:00:00 Christopher Mcbride This is a moving story about a young Jewish girl, hidden in a convent during the Holocaust who has to keep her identity secret during the war. Her parents take refuge with a countess and others, and at one point her mother goes missing. Alone in the convent, the little girl prays silently to baby Jesus. A powerful story about identity, loss, and survival.
