Review # 1 was written on 2019-04-16 00:00:00 Timothy Crane This is a large collection of Spanish tales collected years ago from small towns in Northern New Mexico and is best read spread out over many days. They appear to be recorded pretty much as they were told; sometimes they ramble and sometimes they take a sharp turn toward a new plot line. Some are similar to each other and some have elements of the European fairy tales that we are more familiar with. Overall, I enjoyed the collection.
