Review # 1 was written on 2011-03-07 00:00:00 Barry Ma Fisher was a remarkable man, a highly successful scholar and medical researcher was well as a fiction writer during the Harlem Renaissance. He is especially good at writing about working-class African Americans, including those who moved north during the Great Migration. A very pleasurable read.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-10-29 00:00:00 Roxann Gregg Fantastic. Very poignant. I really enjoyed it....don't know if anyone who is not a New Orleans native would find it as intriguing.
