Review # 1 was written on 2020-07-12 00:00:00 Brittany Hartwell I picked up an autographed copy! Yay! There are many stories of the God Lono. This one is about Lono as a farmer. He went into the water and learned to grow amazing things. When he left, he left with cuttings of the plants. He planted them all around Hawaii. People still care for these plants. |
Review # 2 was written on 2008-07-13 00:00:00 Vance Gosselin What makes this grammar stand out is that it not only describes in clear, understandable ways the grammar rules of Hawaiian, but also provides many "real world" examples of the rules and concepts described. It was also refreshing that the author would acknowledge when a rule was uncertain or needed further study. An indispensable book for anyone learning Hawaiian in depth. |
