It takes one through many possible conceptual difficulties one might have in learning Linear Algebra and mathematics in general as well as a solid history of the development of the field. Quotes from historical texts in the original languages are featured with translations in the footnotes, offering an immersive experience of the development of the epistemic bases for Linear Algebra. Highly recommended for any student (or teacher) of mathematics.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-03-16 00:00:00 Jhony Pierre Supplementing with extra exercises from Friedberg, Insel and Spence. This KJ Linear Algebra book has extremely clear exposition and is my favorite text for an absolute beginner to learn linear algebra from.
