Review # 1 was written on 2008-09-21 00:00:00 Goran Markovic A well explained book beginning with the atom and continuing on to complex compounds (as the name implies). Novice friendly since it assumes you know little-to-nothing about atoms and tugs you along as you climb the hierarchy into more complex atomic structures. This book is brief and doesn't go into a whole lot of details, but gives the reader a good overall picture of basic chemistry. A great book to learn the basics and definitely recommended. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-04-15 00:00:00 Nikole Juart Although this book covers almost all topics from molecular modelling, and has some insides to physics and math along with simple calculation examples I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. Despite of easy language and seemingly all necessary material, the book doesn't give deep understanding. Topics and examples are placed quite chaotically and not consequently. |
