I thought this book was good because I like historical fiction. The reading age would probably be 4th grade and up. George Washington was born on February 22, 1732 at Pope's Creek in Virginia Colony by Augustine and Mary Washington. How does George Washington live during his early life and presidency? Read the book to find out!!!!!

A fantastic biography that only spends about 2 pages on his presidency. The book covers his major exploits of early life, his time in the French and Indian War, and at Mount Vernon (including, but not belaboring the slavery there), the series of Acts that led to the American Revolution, through his death. Tables on various presidential information are included. Great for younger readers who are looking for an overview of his life that goes beyond his contribution in the Revolutionary War.
