Review # 1 was written on 2011-11-26 00:00:00 Matthew Hopewell I know very little about Latinx and Mujerista theology, and I picked up this book to learn more. Most of the essays are beyond me - I'll try rereading this after learning the basics elsewhere! |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-05 00:00:00 Doug Martin Lots of gems in here, but the context of the writing - academics speaking to other academics - leaves a net of specialist language to cut through and let live. This is a must-read, though, for those trying to think theologically in the American multicultural context. I'd suggest talking over the texts with mixed groups and seeking reflection points and stories. |
