Review # 1 was written on 2021-06-06 00:00:00 Jovanny Hernandez I thought this book on Ulysses S. Grant was an okay book. An interesting fact about Grant was he liked horses. Another interesting thing I learned was that Grant never wanted to been a general, but yet he was one of the main generals that helped the north win the Civil War. After the Civil War was over President Lincoln invited him to go to Ford's Theatre but he couldn't be there. It turnes out that that was the night Lincoln was assassinated. The part most people don't know thought is that Grant was on a train that night and there was an assassination atemped to kill him on the train. Three years after that he became president. That's what the book was about.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-03-01 00:00:00 Greg Atkins Brief but superficial survey of history of the U.K. More useful for its description of medieval history, which is less familiar to most and not covered well in most schools.
