Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-16 00:00:00 Josh Meitin A but frustrating due to some inaccuracies that I think the author should have checked in with, such as dogs and wolves living in packs, there being a human "leader" in the family, etc. I loved that at the back of the book some instructions were included for teaching basic commands to your dog, and I think that is an excellent idea for the age range this group is geared toward. I would have liked to see them forgo suggesting pushing the dogs butt down while luring into a sit, especially because most dogs will lure into a sit easily without physical coercion. And it can be annoying later in life if the dog sits every time pressure is applied to its lower back. But overall great photos, enjoyable intro to what dog breeds are and can do, and well worded.
