That is what Alex Rodriguez went through as a child. His life long dream was to make the ML. But many things stood in his way like a lack of money and a lot of grief. Alex Rodriguez was born in Washington Heights, Brooklyn New York and as a kid all he ever wanted to do was play baseball. This love fallowed Alex on his moves to the Dominican Republic and his move to Florida. But money was always a problem for Alex during his youth so one day Alex's dad went to New York for work but never came back. With the los of his father Alex became more motivated to make the MLB. He played high school ball and college ball before he was taken with the first overal pick by the seatle Marieniers. This is a great and powerful book. That can motivate you for comcureing anything that you want. I recomend this book to anyone who loves baseball. Also i recomend this book to you if you are a YANKEE fan.

The story first talks about how he had the patient on playing baseball when he was younger. Later on he loved the sport of baseball he would always spend the rest of the day playing it. Baseball wasn't the only sport he liked, he would also play other sports like basketball and football which he played during high school. Then after his high school year he got drafted to the AAA team in Florida. Then after he played he got drafted to the MLB because he was a sub for a player that got hurt. Then few games have passed and got held back to the AAA.
