Venezia has recycled a winning strategy in his recounting of William Henry Harrison : ninth president, 1841 as he gives a historical account of the U.S. president who served the least amount of time in office. Along the way Venezia tells readers that Harrison's father was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and that the first youngster who later became president to have regular contact with the likes of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, that his first choice of profession was to be a physician but changed direction upon the sudden death of his father, that he was the first candidate to be endorsed by the newly formed Whig party, and that he was the first president to die in office after having caught pneumonia after his extremely long inauguration speech.

Another good book in this informative "Getting To Know the U.S. Presidents" series for young readers by Mike Venezia. Even though William Henry Harrison only held office for 1 month before his death, this book is filled with many interesting facts about his life.
