Latin Looks:-Latino Images in the Media is an awesome book that tell it readers the Latino/Latinas portrayed in the media, television & movies. Clara E. Rodriguez has done her research well and speaks explains in the book with full experience of the Latinos she has seen or encountered. The books also have plenty of statistics of Latin Americans exposure of media. I enjoyed reading this book and glad that I had to use it for a textbook for Latino Popular Culture course. So I rate it with 2 thumbs up. Anyone who is interested in Latino studies, I would recommend them to read this book. =)~

Fantastic analysis of public discourse on Latin@s in California. This research was recommended to me by Norma Gonzalez and was very helpful for my dissertation research on immigrant youth in high schools.
