Review # 2 was written on 2007-04-16 00:00:00 Robert Masten These plays are very dated, but you can still see why they caused such a stir. However you can also see why they're rarely performed - they simply aren't very good. This may partly be because the language was so alien to me, but I think there were other factors - the lack of any empathic characters, the snappy but ultimately toothless dialogue, and the endless appalling double entendres.
