Review # 1 was written on 2008-12-19 00:00:00 Lindsay Dage I think this dialog was on reserve for PHYS 105 at the Grinnell College library because I've no recollection of owning it or of reading it outside of the library. Imitating Galileo's Dialogo dei due massimi sistemi del mondo (Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems, 1632) to the point of retaining the interlocutors and their personalities and set on the shores of contemporary Lake Geneva, this book by the Swiss mathematician attempts to explain quantam mechanics to such Simplicios as myself and does a fair job of it.
