Review # 1 was written on 2009-08-13 00:00:00 Philipp Gorgus Many of us no longer understand why some of our parents or grandparents are racist dinosaurs. Being influenced, some of us acted condescending talking to the others in our broken BM. We knew we shall not but not sure what, how, or whether to change to protect our rights. We knew we were born here and will die here one day. Confused n forced to react but not sure how, as the racial tension being felt strongly n stronger these days. We can't just throw tantrum n simply protest as we are annoyed n sandwiched, can we? In our minds, we wonder what the basis of all those political debates. Who are the moderate majority? Can we equip ourselves well and judge whether they r the trustworthy n dependable bunch? Read this interesting book n judge for ourselves. I wish too there would b a sequel by the title "the young Malaysian Chinese dilemma" as the timing seem right again and the generation has proceeded. The author's personal point of view in this book was hard for me to chew to start. I saw his point towards the end. It was politically right. Do continue to read till the last chapter. Warning: don't read the googled rubbish reviews.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-08-24 00:00:00 Steven Walker Must read book for those who were embroiled into NEP debates. The author certainly has supply the debate with a refreshing perspective the argument for the NEP, namely from the point of view of a Chinese-origin entrepreneur in Malaysia. Even if you don't read it, possessing the book itself is an achievement,since in my knowledge, i managed to acquire one of the last unit available on market.
