Review # 1 was written on 2008-12-23 00:00:00 Dan Driggs Reading a decorating book that is 13 years old isn't necessarily always a good idea. She is big on "grand," and "expensive," and "flourish." I did add the cover photo though, for those interested. I've gone back and re-read this in 2018. There are some rooms that I would call "decidedly European" and even moreso...English. Many of the rooms shown are her own home, her son's smaller home and decorating projects she took on with her business. I was mainly interested in the idea of balance and working with oversized floral arrangements this time. I did scan some photographs for Pinterest fans and my own reference sections.
