Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-13 00:00:00 Tom Ogden My favorite part of this book is the chapter on Thoreau. I'm a pretty big HDT fan, and I think lots of people give him a bad rap he doesn't deserve. I think Maxine's take on him is pretty amazing. Read it if you get a chance. This is a book I'll keep going back to for sure. I didn't get to really read everything in that I wanted since I need to take it back to the library. But, I liked it so much that I HAD to go out and buy a copy. Since I'm a dirt poor grad student, buying a book means I really, really like it. Maybe they should add that to the rating system: Five stars and a link to Amazon
