Review # 1 was written on 2014-12-03 00:00:00 Richars Greow After spending time with dear friends in the Russian River area, I found this book to be a fascinating exploration of the history of vineyard development in the region. I only wish that there had been wine samples I could have tasted as I read along!

Review # 2 was written on 2019-01-09 00:00:00 Paul Spross Great concept, a deep dive into one specific wine region. Loaded with historical research, and allows the grape farmers and winemakers to tell there own story. Makes me want to head up to Sonoma County for a few days!
