Review # 1 was written on 2009-01-31 00:00:00 Serajul Ali This is a collection that will grow with you.... or not. Come back to it and ponder. It seems to represent a moment in a generation of poets... a constellation of lights in darkness. |
Review # 2 was written on 2007-04-06 00:00:00 Michael Breeden As with all anthologies of short selections, there were some entries that I loved and some I didn't like. However, the book in aggregate gave such a view into the heart of the state of Montana that I found that I really liked it as a whole. I have long been a fan of Mildred Walker, so I was happy to see her work included. Although I am a poet, I found some of the poetry enigmatic and difficult to understand. This was a book that I could read in parts, so I have been reading it between other books for the past 3 weeks, but I am glad that I have read it all. |
