Review # 1 was written on 2010-01-05 00:00:00 Diego Lopes This unsentimental, hard-edged collection gives glimpses into the life of a woman who grew up in Appalachia in the 1970's and finally moved to Maine to escape. She catalogs her homesickness, a failed marriage, and her mixture of disappointment in herself for not being a perfect wife and mother and rage at the unrealistic expectations that she was supposed to meet.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-11-29 00:00:00 Edward Dedeo My philosophy knowledge < my math knowledge, so this one was less enjoyable than pirate for me. But I will enjoy a reread and working to understand.
