Review # 1 was written on 2019-05-14 00:00:00 Javier Rodriguez I felt there was the potential for cohesiveness until I got to her in-depth treatment of the bee image. It felt disconnected from the preceding sections of the book (Wattsian metre and theology, feminine hymn writers, mystical writing). |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-04-21 00:00:00 David Boling Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Cyborg theory is a niche passion of mine and this collection of essays is fodder for the brain. The ideas suggested make you think and reconsider the world you inhabit in ways I am rarely challenged. I've read this book probably 4 times now and each time you get something new out of it. There are so many ideas packed in that one reading doesn't do it. |
