Review # 1 was written on 2016-10-25 00:00:00 Heather Bauer Fridell has written a fine children’s book, intended for middle school and above, that profiles the work of six men whose work shaped forensic science: Alphonse Bertillon, Edward Henry, Karl Landsteiner, Edmund Locard, Clyde Snow, and Alec Jeffreys. All of these, except for Locard (whose interest was in microscopic material evidence) made discoveries in the various ways every human being differs from every other: in physical measurement, fingerprints, blood type, skeletal remains, and DNA. Fridell does not condescend to his audience, and there is no reason why an adult cannot read this book with both pleasure and profit.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-03-04 00:00:00 Line Shink A very interesting look at the 'pioneers of forensic science'. But it's hardly in-depth, so now I have lots more researching to do!
