Review # 1 was written on 2020-09-25 00:00:00 Reginald Borgella It's a little dry in places, but that's to be expected I guess. When there are so many different writers telling stories you'll like some more than others. As a source of insight into the daily lives of people from the 30's it's bittersweet to know that people always were and always will be just people, trying to make the best of it. As a source of history, I learned a few things, such as Alabama has a Cajun population, and that turpentine was harvested here. As a resource for those that love local/regional or domestic history it's invaluable. People are people after all and there really is something about meeting people that lived before we were even a twinkle in our parents eyes.

Review # 2 was written on 2007-09-18 00:00:00 Banan Rama شاید بعد یعنی وقتی بیشتر خوندم نظرم عوض بشه... چون ملاکش برای انتخاب افراد همه جا قابل درک نبود ولی جاهایی که می تونستم تشخیص بدم درست بود مثل جلوی هم قرار دادن سروش و داوری. هر اشکال علمی و نظری هم داشته باشه روش و دسته بندی و نظمش عالی بود و باز به این نتیجه رسیدم که باید باید رفت غرب و متد تحقیق و نوشتن درست یاد گرفت. رنگ و بوی پژوهش واقعی... حس خوبی بود که با یک کتاب سر و کار داشتم نه ملغمه صورت مکتوب افکار و خاطرات گوینده. توی پروپوزالم گفته م که این چاه روشنفکری و غرب زدگی آخر و عاقبت نداره و نمی خوام توش بیفتم ولی واقعیت اینه که چاه های سرراهم آرزوست... پ.ن : با تشکر فراوان از پایان نامه نویس درونی که گویا در حال لود شدن است.
