She questions her friends if they are her secret friend and most of them reply that they are her friend but not a secret one. Molly finally unravels the mystery and wishes her friend (not a secret anymore) a Happy Valentine's Day. This is a great book not only to be read to young children around Valentine's Day, but for beginning readers. SECRET VALENTINE contains simple and charming illustration that young children will adore. It also has many repetitive phrases that will help develop confidence in younger readers, which is an important step in developing lifelong readers!
