Review # 1 was written on 2017-04-15 00:00:00 Tagliaferri Luca got most of the way through this, maybe a page or two short of halfway. as they say on the train platform, dated. it is interesting reading these...who's the judge denied a seat on the high court 'cause of smoking pot? ginsburg. no, not ruth. douglas. remember that? neither do i. another curious piece has to do with reading. some of these still hold their charm...others...not as much. i recall buchwald from when he was active...somewhat...though politics and all politicians and their spokepeople hold dear hasn't been something i took an active interest in. one piece in here about donald trump. ivana. checked this one from the library here in town...last checked out in 1996. for as many books that are read every year can we honestly say that we are a nation of readers? yeah, sure...when you do some sort of comparison. but not really. i imagine the vast majority of the population doesn't read a single tome in a year. and the evidence shows. anyway...enjoyed what i read...after a time they all began to sound the same. didn't want to read them all to mine the nuggets. let them stay buried.
