Review # 2 was written on 2017-11-20 00:00:00 Michael Kaus I was surprised at just how shallow this book was. I didn't enjoy the stereotypes or the characters who were almost identical to "real-life" celebrities, such as the big-bottomed "jill" who was a dead-ringer for Jennifer Lopez in her earlier years. I felt like I was back in the '80's again, reading Jackie Collins... only much less enjoyable. The only redeeming quality to me were a few details of Cuban-American life in Miami and some of the delicious food the characters were eating.
