Review # 1 was written on 2012-03-25 00:00:00 Cameron Roberton I read chapters 1 through 4 of this textbook to get a better understanding of the ideas of sociology. From that perspective it was a useful book, but as this is a science book I have to wonder why New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman is quoted. (He is definitely, definitely not a scientist.) |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-03 00:00:00 Zoltan Balazs I read this book for my Stats100 class. I am not a Math wizard. I did not find the lessons in this book very helpful. For most lessons I ended up needing to find alternative study guides in order to understand the concepts. I am not sure this is due to the nature of Statistics and the language, the formatting of the book or something else entirely, but I just did not find it helpful. |
