Review # 1 was written on 2019-09-04 00:00:00 Douglas Christy WHAT??? YOU THINK I ONLY READ HISTORICAL SMUT FEATURING MEN IN KILTS??? I have layers, people. LAY-ERS. so...this one was sort of dull. i hate to be so not-academic about it, but the reality is that i was hoping to use an excerpt from this book in one of my classes this year and because the language is dense, the syntax is convoluted, and the content is repetitive, well, i just can't bring myself to do it. it's a pity, but at least some of the ideas are worth more exploration, and for that i give this text three fun-filled stars. because i'm incapable of taking anything seriously in august.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-06-07 00:00:00 Alex Taylor Interesting ideas, but reads a bit too much like a thesis for my tastes. If you're taking a class on this sort of thing, I'm sure you'll enjoy the book. For me, personally, it felt much too academic.
