Review # 1 was written on 2018-01-07 00:00:00 Dimitrios Dourmoussis I listened to this play courtesy of the L.A. Theatre Works broadcast on their website. Jason Robards & Judith Ivey were excellent and the play probably deserves a higher rating (added later - I have raised my 3.5* rating to 4* so this comment may not still apply). Ivey in particular did the Gloucester accent well (and I come from this area of the world). My problem with it was personal - it hit a lot of buttons for me. Of course, now that I write that down I am thinking that is what a good play should do! While I liked the ending, it was on the sentimental side. Those who like strict realism in their theater might quibble that it isn't likely...

Review # 2 was written on 2008-03-23 00:00:00 David Kernan This is actually a live performance play. Loved it.
