Most sports followers would know of Lance, his cancer and Tour de France wins. But the fact that cancer was one of the reasons why he started winning the Tour de France and his troubled childhood and strained marriages - also a brash American - hated by the Europeans and also the European cyclists - he overcame all of that to win Tour de France seven times. His mother. Linda, to be credited with his determination and ability to come back. Very crisply written by Bill Gutman - a sports biographer.

An interesting account of Lance's accomplishments. I found his victory over cancer to be more inspiring than his races, due to the fact that he used performance enhancing drugs to win his titles (this book was written before that became common knowledge) but it is still amazing what he accomplished after cancer. Very informative and detailed, nonetheless.
