Review # 1 was written on 2009-05-14 00:00:00 Neil Beighton Read the first few chapters, parts of chapter 5, and the conclusion. Useful for considering apocalyptic fiction in relation to minority discourses. But perhaps not as useful to the project I'm working on. |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-12-27 00:00:00 Dennis Remavich This is a jewel of a book. Ok the copy I have is 40 years old and a lot happened since, but the geek in me, the librarian in me and the bibliophile in me has made this book one of my most precious books. There is something so fundamentally wonderful about having a listing of author after author, after book listed, all with Gay content. There is nothing to tell you what these books are about. If they are good or bad, but the author attempts to use symbols to show if they are predominantly Gay or just have some Gay content. It is over 40 years old, though it has been reprinted just recently, but I love this and thank the author for the the labor this must have taken to produce. Thank you Ian. |
