Review # 1 was written on 2007-10-17 00:00:00 Tim Pickens This is one of two books by the same author that was required for my Latin American Thought course this semester. All relevant material in this text is repeated almost word for word in the second text and accompanied by readings. Because of that, and because the author takes a lot of liberty with her interpretations of the readings (this book does refer to the readings in the other book, but all of her analysis is also included in that book as well, so...), I didn't like this book. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-05-24 00:00:00 Michael Walls Super interesting book that covers a broad range. More needs to be written on this subject. I wish I had more access to original works though. |
