the first chapter is a snooze. the second chapter: - never ever starve yourself by eating a severe low calorie diet. (your body would start storing all the energy you eat -to save itself from starvation- you'll break your muscles into fat as well. and on top of that you would be lazy to do anything) best approach is eat your calories, healthy fats and carbs. and work out!. working out increases your metabolism (that's why people who work out -even though they eat more- they burn more)working out will increase your muscles. your fatty acids would be transferred into protein to grow your muscles. this is my tip not the book: its tricky to lose fat WHILE growing muscles because your body can be easily confused. ( lowering your calories to lose weight while working out to built muscles. your body then might store ur fat instead of burning it and your muscles wont grow) that's why people often find their weight stuck with no improvements. my tip would be: MAKE SURE YOU EAT UR MINIMUM CALORIE Requirements, and you dont need to fill yourself with fat. substitute for protein ( that's hitting two birds in one stone). all fatty acids have three kinds of fat (Saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat and monounsaturated fat) the later two are healthier. saturated fat increases your cholesterol putting you at risk of a heart attack. so the less the better. but the thing is.. even olive oil has sat. fat. so make sure you check for the highest percentage of these. remember: fat "lipids" are high -very high- in calories. a spoon of butter can measure up to 60 calories. carbohydrates: carbon + water. found usually in plants with plenty of water and exposure to sun. the book is dull and redundant but very informative. im going to apply my knowledge in my next trip to the jam3eya. eat natural unprocessed food. go organic. avoid additives. like preserved or colored food.

It did some good reviews of things I learned about nutrition before, but I didn't learn tons of new info.
