Review # 1 was written on 2018-07-02 00:00:00 Francesc Castell I have at least a half dozen guides to fishes of the Gulf of Mexico and Hoese & Moore's guide is by far the best for identifying many of the less commone species I come across while shrimping, fishing, netting, or spear-fishing. It's a fantastic guide book for that covers dang near anything you may catch in the north Gulf.

Review # 2 was written on 2017-01-11 00:00:00 Windi Snellen this field guide is great - it has color pictures of most of the species. we took it with us to eleuthera, bahamas and used it nonstop to key out coral reef species there. definitely my favorite field guide i have.
