Fun collection of anecdotes, stories and political cartoons involving those Presidents of the US who were avid fishermen. The book did not strictly follow chronological order and in this case, it made the book more interesting since a paragraph about Grover Cleveland might be followed by one about Jimmy Carter, or vice versa. Other Presidents mentioned include George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, FDR, Dwight Eisenhower, and George H.W. Bush, among others. The fly fishermen definitely felt a sense of superiority over those folks using bait. In fact, Calvin Coolidge got scathing mentions in the newspapers after admitting he used worms for bait! I had no idea that was so frowned upon! **#82 of 120 books pledged to read/review in 2016**

Recommended by someone at a party. Have read Herbert Hoover's fishing book, and thought this would be fun (I collect fishing books of all genre). Paperback on Amazon.
