Let me just write down some lines I stole from it: "I am not the Knight of flowers" "Such love as I can bring to mind I now declare to be a bird" "Every hurt I ever had or gave now it's got a voice" "Then a flowering woman. with a knife I came to the order of my life" "I think on all those who wrote things of love" I do too

James Wright's poetry is consistently interesting, heart-felt, open, and honest. Reading through his published works, it seems som collections are more accessible than others. This one was a little uneven.
