Review # 1 was written on 2017-11-08 00:00:00 Glen Linch I skimmed this book to try to discover why I love dystopian novels and posthumanism (like the idea of uploading consciousness into a less squishy and longer-lasting medium than a brain, for instance). No insights from the book, beyond some entertaining quotes, like the goal of cyberpunk: Live fast, die young, and leave a highly-augmented corpse. Love that. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-01-04 00:00:00 Arnold Sanchez This book is basically an extended version of the "motifs" section of sparknotes. The authoer never gets to the point. Lots of plot summary of O'Connor's work and very brief analysis involving retribution and other motifs. Does not answer the "so what question" |
