Review # 1 was written on 2011-05-23 00:00:00 Margaret Hamer I loved this book! Added another dimension to my understanding of women and southern culture. I'm not a musician, and yet the book was easy to follow--hardly anything technical in it at all. The personal stories were the best part--I don't know how she uncovered so many!

Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-10 00:00:00 Jamie Wimber Quite interesting and I learned a lot. Read for both professional development and personal interest. For a history, very readable.
