Review # 1 was written on 2015-03-14 00:00:00 Marilyn Smith This 1991 edition of Notes and Comments on Robert's Rules by Jon Ericson was an excellent Q&A on the 1990 Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (9th Edition). However, a new edition of Robert's, Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (11th Edition), was published in 2011 with 120 listed changes. A fourth and current edition of Notes and Comments on Robert's Rules was published in 2012 and can be found on Goodreads at Notes and Comments on Robert's Rules, Fourth Edition. Notes and Comments on Robert Rules, Fourth Edition is a user's guide to the new 716 page edition of Robert's and uses a question-and-answer format to cover the most misused and asked-about provisions, including those that apply to larger membership meetings. Notes and Comments received the 2013 Phifer Award from the Commission on American Parliamentary Practice (CAPP), an affiliate of the National Communication Association.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-03-15 00:00:00 Joseph Mills Ericson does a good job on highlighting what is important in Robert's enormous set of rules and cuts the gut of the matter of what an organization should do and be. Looking at a few who espoused following the Rules weren't even close. I think people who are civic-minded should read this and get a handle on their rights and the rules of civil conduct as well.
