Review # 1 was written on 2020-08-20 00:00:00 Mark Sinishtaj I'm thinking of getting some mates together and settling a bit of Illinois myself. Fellow Englishmen only please. On a serious note, this book is kinda interesting. I respect how the founders of the English settlement deeply opposed slavery but they sound insufferably pompous and annoying. Maybe every white North American in the 1820s was either insufferably pompous or basically Andrew Jackson. Makes you think.
